Overall, there was an ascending tendency in the amount of money invested in all stocks and bonds. It is also that the money used to buy stocks always had higher data over the reported timeframe.

Commencing with the 2001-2003 period, the amounts of investment in stocks increased gradually from 210 billion to 227 billion. The similar change can be witnessed in the figure for money spent on bonds, which accelerated from the trough of precisely 100 billion to 123 billion.

From 2003 onwards, the statistics of stocks investment escalated from 227 billion to 289 billion in 2004, then noticeably rose to the highest point at 311 billion in the last 2 years. The figure for money used to buy bond continued to surge from 162 billion to 188 billion throughout the examined years.
