The chart provides information about the number of individuals participating in 4 types of sports in a certain region from 1985 to 2005.
Overall, the popularity of these four kinds of sports changed slowly over the time period in this region. Moreover, each sport did not change its position dramatically except rugby.
In 1985, approximately 250 and 150 people played football and tennis respectively, while basketball and badminton consisted of under 100 participants. However, after a decade the first two sports crossed 200 people, which was caused by a falling number of participants playing football and conversely growing popularity of tennis until 2005.
Additionally, each kind of activity, except football, maintained their positions, the least popular badminton, and the most popular tennis at the end of the graph. Furthermore, it is noticeable that whilst badminton players made just about 50 people, almost 100 people played basketball from 1985 to 2005. Nevertheless, rugby started with just under 250 people and ended with only one-fifth of the initial number.
