Conversely, China’s share of Australian exports began at about 5% in 1990, remained relatively steady until 2003, and then surged significantly to approximately 30% by 2012. Similarly, India’s export percentage started at around 1% in 1990, saw a gradual rise to almost 2% by 1998, fluctuated between 2-5% until 2009, and managed to reach to nearly 6% by 2012.
