The line chart presents the changes of the percentage of Australian exports to four different countries between 1990 and 2012.
In general, the figure for the percentage rates of Australian export to Japan and US declined insignificantly during the period, while that to China and India increased. Moreover, China outpaced significantly among four countries and became being the highest percentage in the last period.
At first, the rate of exported goods from Australia to Japan and the US were recorded between 10 – 30% in 1990. In 2012, Japan kept dropping insignificantly and it reached around 18%. Meanwhile, the US once rose slightly in 2000 and then decreased until it achieved around 7 %.
In contrast, the chart representing the percentage of the export from China and India was increased. China and India were reported at almost 0% in the first period. China reached almost 30% and became the highest country among four countries at the end of the period. Meanwhile, India reached the highest rate in 2010 then slightly dropped in 2012.
