The line graph compares how much income the local restaurants from Cambridge made over the year 2016.
Overall, it is clear that all restaurants increased their earnings and changed their positions over the period. While The Grosvenor became the lowest performing café by the end of the year from being the most successful in the beginning.
The Pizza House increased its profits throughout the period. In January, the café earned 50,000 pounds and by July it was doubled. However, over the next two months there was a decline on income to 40,000 pounds, before it surged significantly to over 180,000 pounds and at the same time overtaking The Old Hall. The Old Hall started the period at 100,000 pounds and this dipped but then increased to the second-highest point of 140,000 pounds per month.
In the beginning, The Grosvenor had made 160,000 pounds which was the highest amount at that time. Over the following months, the earnings of the café fluctuated noticeably, until it declined hugely in October and was overtaken by other given cafes. Meanwhile, The Taj Mahal experienced consistent increase to reach the third-highest position of 120,000 pounds per month.
