In 1800, the global population stood at 1000 million people, it steadily rose in consecutive years to reach a height of approximately 7,500 million, leading to predictions that at this rate it will peak to 8,000 million individuals before dropping to 6,000 million in the year 2,100.
Conversly, urbanization population is set to experience a dramatic growth in the developing countries with a continuous surge in the figures from 2,100 million to just under 3,000 by the year 2025, will continue to grow till 4,000 million urban residents by the year 2040. Meanwhile developed countries will remain static on their urbanization figures with no change.
