The given line graph illustrates the number of burglaries ,car thefts and robberies that was happened per year in New Port city during the period between 2003 and 2012.

From an overall perspective,the number of burglaries was the highest among different types of crimes in the beginning of the period, but it which declined substantially until it was that it got lower than the number of car theft over time. On the contrary, the second highest number of crimes was which is car theft, which fluctuated steadily during the whole period. Similarly, robbery had a slight fluctuation from 2003 to 2012 with overall the lowest number of incidents of all time.

From a detailed analysis, burglary was the highest recorded crime with around 3400 incidents in 2003 . Although the number rose to about 3700 in 2004 , it then plunged till it reached got to around 1200 in 2008 which was the lowest number of cases in burglary . After that,the number fluctuated gradually till it reached to about 1300 in 2012. Car theft incidents incident, on the other hand, were was the second highest in 2004 with the cases around 2800 ,yet overall over all it experienced some was with the fluctuations throughout all the years. The numbers of both incidents were remarkably the same in 2006 , since then car theft turned into the highest rate of crimes due to the dramatic decline of burglary rate after.
