The provided line chart gives information about the rate of foreign visitors who visited 4 different attractions such as art galleries, pavilions, piers, and festivals
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that in the beginning, the most popular attraction was the festival, while at the end the pavilion became the most popular. Similarly, more visitors preferred to go to an art gallery but this figure was at the bottom in the end.
Between the years 1980 and 1990, it can be seen that there was a sharp increase in tourists who visited the pavilion. It went from 28% to 40% during a decade. The popularity of the pavilion continued until 1995 when the percentage went down. Pavilion’s popularity stood at about 48% and it went down to 35% in 2000, and then it decreased steadily between the years 2000 and 2010. The trend for the Art gallery was similar to the pavilion. Visitors rapidly rose from almost 22% to 37% during five years. However, the percentage of visitors gradually decreased from 1985 to 1990. Even though the visitor percentage slightly rose to 22% in 1995, it dipped following years. On the contrary, the rate of tourists to the festival in 1980 started higher than the rest of the attractions. Nevertheless, the fraction moderately fluctuated but in general, remained steady at about 25%. Visitors to the pier also fluctuated from 1980 to 2000 then rose significantly from 12% to 22% between 2000 and 2010.
