The line graph shows the average number of deaths during the second wave of covid-19 in the UK, US, EU-27, and Brazil in 2021.
Overall, in 2021, the UK recorded the highest figure for death, while the lowest figure was in Brazil. During this period, the death in the UK and US saw decreases, while Brazil increased significantly. At the same period, the EU-27 saw a small fluctuate, they success reduced the numbers of death.
It is clear that on January, the number of deaths in the UK it slightly higher than US, they stood at similar figure, only by 1 million. on February, the death in UK decreased significantly, before saw a sharply increase in the middle of January. The US and EU-27 both saw decreases, and they have a similar figure of at around 6 million. Brazil was not as big as the US and EU-27. It stood at around 4 million, as the lowest. On February, Brazil saw a gradually increase.
What stands out from the line graph is that on February almost countries had decline, except Brazil. At the same period, all countries also began at a fairly similar figure of between 5 and 6 million. Between February and April, Brazil dramatically rose to 15 million, while the US and the UK gradually decreased to less 5 million.The EU-27 saw a small fluatuate.
