The given line graph illustrates the proportion of movie watchers among 4 age groups in a particular nation from 1978 to 2008. It is clear that the proportion of cinema visitors was high among the age group 14 to 24 in all the given years.
The percentage of movie goers among the age groups 14 to 24 as well as 25 to 34 followed a similar trend. In 1978 the proportion of movie visitors was 90 among 14 to 24 and 80 among 25 to 34 age groups. Further, it decreased by more than 10 percent in both age categories. In the year 1998 it further risen to 90 and 70 respectively and continued to remind the same in the followed years, whereas after 2003 it declined.
Moreover, the percentage of people went to movies was 60 and 40 in 1978 among people of the age group 35 to 49 and above 50 respectively. By 1988, it declined by 20% in both age groups followed by a rise in 1998 around 60 and 40 sequentially, which remained unchanged until 2003. They are after the proportion of populace went to cinema among age group of 35 to 49 followed a downward trend, meanwhile there was an appointment among individuals of the age group above 50.
