In 1978, the percentage of cinema visitors in the 14-24, 25-34, 35-49 and 50+ age groups were 90%, 80%, 60% and 40%, respectively. However, in 1988 the percentage of cinema visitors in all group ages got declined by nearly 15%. In 1998 the percentage of cinema consumers got a modest rise in all age groups as well. From 1998 to 2003 the percentage remained steady. In 2008 the percentage of cinema visitors dropped among all of the age groups except 50+ age group.
