The line graph compares the number of visitors who visited to and from the UK between 1979 and 1999, and the bar chart gives information about the proportion of UK residents who visited five different countries in the year of 1999.
It is clear that the highest number of visitors visited abroad by UK residents, while it is also noticable that UK residents who visited France was highest in 1999.
In terms of line chart, there was an increase of 40 million who visited abroad by UK residents from 12 million in 1979 to 52 million in 1999. Moreover, the proportion of visit to the UK by overseas residents increased by 17 million, from 10 million to 27 million over the period of 20 years.
According to bar chart, most of the UK people visited France and Spain in 1999 were 11 million and 9 million respectively. Furthermore, less than 5 million UK people visited the USA and Greece. Turkey was the least popular among the UK residents which was 2 million in the year of 1999.
