The two graphics presented above illustrate the rates of subscriptions to both mobile and fixed phone lines in the span of 10 years. The data is concerning the following countries: Eritrea, India, UK and Uruguay.
To start with, from the first line graph, which analyzes the cellphones, it is evident that India and Uruguay have experienced huge modifications from 2005 to 2015, as the quantity of subscriptions increased from almost zero to approximately 70 and 140 per hundred people respectively. Meanwhile, the situation in the UK and Eritrea remained nearly unchanged, although in the first mentioned country the number was consistently high, with every person owning around one subscription for themselves. In contrast, in the second one the population seems to possess no subscriptions at all.
When it comes to the second illustration, the changes are almost unnoticeable in all of the listed locations. However, similarly to the first graph, the popularity of fixed phone subscriptions is revealingly higher in the United Kingdom and India.
Overall, both graphs are showing a strong geographical dependency, as the numbers regarding mobile as well as fixed subscriptions has been ranging significantly from country to country.
