Overall, there are large differences in the number of people who choose these phone services in each country.
In the beginning, it is evident that the U.K had the highest amount of mobile phone subscriptions with over 100 subscriptors per hundred of people, then increase their numbers up to 120 people in 2007, before remaining stable throughout the whole period. The country also had the most fixed phone services. However, at the end of the period fell slightly and went approximitely from 58 to 52 people subscribed. The mobile phone services in Uruguay start at around 47 subscriptors per hundred of people, but experienced a significant growth surpassing the U.K in 2009, before finishing the period at around 150. As for the fixed lines in Uruguay stayed level with around 30 per houndred.
The number of subscriptions to fixed lines were quite low for India and Eritrea, with a start of 5 and 1 subscriptors, respectively. However, at the end of the period India gradually decreased and Eritrea experienced a slightly increase, finishing at similars levels. By contrast, the mobile phone services in India went up from 5 to around 80, while the figure of Eritrea remained constant.
