The maps show the changes that have taken place at a zoo in Australia from 1960 to the present.

Overall, the zoo has been significantly redeveloped with new entrances, transport facilities such as a cable car and ferry, and major changes to animal exhibits. However, the picnic area has remained in the same position.

In 1960, the zoo contained five animal sections, including chimpanzees, Australian animals, African animals, birds, and a seal show. These were connected by road networks, with the chimpanzees and Australian animals located in the lower area, while birds and the seal show were positioned in the upper part near the harbour. There were also three picnic areas and a gift shop at the bottom of the map.

At present, the zoo has been completely redesigned. A new entrance has been added at the bottom, and another near the sea. The gift shop has been enlarged, and new facilities such as a cable car and ferry have been introduced. The African animals have been moved to the centre as part of a wild animal zone, while the seal show has been relocated near the cable car. The bird and chimpanzee exhibits have been removed entirely, and the harbour has been moved to the opposite side
