The given maps illustrate a number of changes which took place in a village, comparing 1995 with the present.
Overall, it is clear that the village has witnessed drastic changes, with the most noticeable being the replacement of farmland and forest park by a golf course and tennis facilities. Additionally, the old fish port and fish market has been demolished, giving way to apartments on the sea front.
To accommodate population growth , several accommodations have been constructed along both sides of the main road and in the west side of the village, along with the replacement of fish markets with apartments in the south west. On the opposite side of the road to the new apartments, shops has been demolished and replaced by restaurants, providing the increasing food demand of residents. Furthermore, fishing ports have also been removed, which allow more people to enjoy sea views.
To the east, the most significant change is the development of farmland and a forest park to a sports leisure complex including a golf course and a tennis court. While the hotel and cafe remain intact, a new car park has been erected adjacent to the hotel.
