The map shows the renovation plan for the second floor of the Mason building. Overall, the size of the floor remains the same after the renovations, but there have been several changes to the layout of the flat.
Initially, as you entered the front of the house, there was a living room immediately to the right. On the left side, there were two doors leading to a landing, but these were not functional. The flat contained three bedrooms: the first was at the left corner at the front of the house, with an exterior door; the second was immediately on the left after entering the dining room; and the last bedroom was located at the far right corner near the kitchen. A bathroom was situated on the right, just before reaching the last bedroom.
After the renovation, the number of bedrooms has decreased to two. The master bedroom has been created in the former kitchen area, while the other bedroom and the bathroom have remained unchanged. A studio has replaced the former living room, and studio storage has taken the place of the first bedroom. The map illustrates the studio’s seating area where the dining area used to be, and a laundry room has been added in the area that was previously the third bedroom.
