The maps depict how a small village in the west of Ireland has developed from 2000 to the present.
Overall, there have been significant changes to infrastructure, housing, and the road system over the period given. The dock was demolished, whereas farmland and the market have been replaced by a park and restaurants, respectively.
In 2000, in the rural area, there were two main roads with one short side road branching off. Along the road, which stayed near the river, a market and shops were located. The former was situated behind the water, and the latter was on the opposite side of the highway. Detached houses were located along the road branch, which started at the middle of another main roadway. On the left of it, the hotel was situated. At the bottom of the map, a dock stood, whilst farmland was located on the northwest.
In 2026, the village has significantly increased in size. One more road branch has appeared; as a consequence, the number of houses rose. Behind the new residential area, a new car park has been located. The dock has been removed, although a park has replaced the farmland
