The two maps illustrate a small settlement in the west side of Ireland in the year 2000 and at the moment.
Generally, more buildings have been built over the years such as a new carpark area, new restaurants or more new houses, however, the dock on the seaside had removed after 2000. In the northern side of the carpark, a new road has been built between the year 2000 and present.
In the year 2000, the village was consisting of only four houses. It had been built new six houses along the same road of old houses and then three new houses had been built to the north east side of the map. In addition, a new carpark place situated along coastal road had been built after 2000.
The hotel and four shops remained same over the years. Instead of markets on the coastline, new restaurants had opened and old dock had removed. The farmland located in the western north corner of the map had transformed into a new park
