The maps depict how small village in the west of Ireland has developed from 2000 to the present.
Overall there have been significant changes to infrastructure, housing and road system over the period given. The dock was demolished, whereas farmland and market have been replaced by park and restaurants, respectivly.
In 2000, in the rural area were two main roads with one short side road branching off. Along the road, which stayed near the river, there were located market and shops. The former was situated behind the water and latter was on the opposite side of the highway. Detached houses were located along road brunch, which started at the midle of another main roadway. On the left of it, the hotel was situated. At the botton of the map dock standed, whilist farmland was located on the northwest.
In 2026 the village has significantly increased in size. The one more road brunch has appeared, as consequance, the number of houses rose up. Behind new residental area has been located new carpark. Dock has been removed, albeit park has replaced farmland.
