The maps show a comparison of the growth of the science park between 2008 and the present. It is clear that the park continues to expand as new facilities are added.
In 2008, the science park was dominated by grassland and woodland, which were located in the west and east areas. Furthermore, the parking lot was larger in that year than what is apparent today. Another facility, the IT Centre, was still in use in 2008 before being replaced by an Innovation Centre.
Currently, these facilities – including business units, offices, parking areas, and cybersecurity – have been in use. While the parking area has been scaled back, the cybersecurity sector has actually continued to grow, following the grassland area. There is also a new installation at the woodland and grassland sites, namely Research and Development in the western part. Moreover, the reception area has been replaced by the University hub in the northern area alongside the offices. Transport infrastructure was also established during this period, including a railway, cycle path, station, and bus stop.
