The maps illustrate some changes to the Headly village and Fonton in three different time periods (1925, 1975 and today).
Overall, the Headly village and Fonton have experienced considerable chances during the period shown. The most noticeable differences between the two maps are the expansion of transportation routes and the increase in the number of facilities.
As can be seen from the maps, the Headly village and Fonton were completely seperated in 1925. Morever, The Headly village had the small road running from west to north. In Fonton, there was the railway line extended from east to north. In 1975, the small road in Headly village was widened and extended eastwards, connecting it to Fonton. Besides, the number of new infrastructures were constructed. To the west of the village, the housing estate was built. In the middle of the village, the leisure center was constructed. Finally, the local shop was built in the south west of the village. In Fonton, the railway line was also expanded.
Currently, we can see that the Headly village and Fonton have merged to form Headly suburbs. To the south of the main road, the local shop has been knocked down and replace by the supermarket and the business park has been constructed. Morever, the railway line has extended to the west and has connected to the new railway station. On the northern side of railway station, the hotel has been built.
