The maps illustrate the changes that took place in the seaside resort of Templeton between 1990 and 2005.
Overall, the town experienced significant development, especially in the western and eastern areas. On the western side, new supermarkets and apartment blocks were built near the shore, while on the eastern side, a school, a factory, and an airport replaced the forest.
In the western part of the resort, several new apartment blocks were constructed close to the lake and along the seashore. New houses also appeared between two roads coming from the eastern area. In addition, a supermarket was built between the new houses and the apartment blocks near the coast.
In the eastern part of the town, major construction also took place. An airport was built in the northern area near the new school, while a factory replaced the forest. Several new houses were added behind the hospital. Moreover, a railway line was introduced, beginning from the eastern side, passing by the factory, and crossing a newly built bridge to connect with the western part of Templeton.
