The two maps provide information about how the seaside resort of Templaton had changed from 1880 to 2005.
Overall, the area had shifted from a predominantly rural and residential settlement to a more urbanized region. The ten changes including the expansion of housing and railway, the introduction of factory, ferry, airport and supermarket.
In 1880, the northwestern section was dominated by a few scattered houses, however, after fifteen years, this region featured a residential area, with some apartments being constructed to the northwestern, which were easily accessed by the main road. There were two main roads running from the west to the east and a small road cut across these roads, bisecting this northeastern into four distinct zones. To the east of this area, in 2005, the dwelling area had expanded with more houses, whilst an airport was situated at the opposite side to the west.
At the small unconstructed area, which was enclosed by two main roads at the west of the map, which was in 2005 expanded with more houses. The southwestern of the seaside resort experienced a big change, with a supermarket being located and all the houses being replaced by apartments. To the southwestern of the map used to feature the forest, positioned opposite a factory. Finally, the railway had equipped with a ferry and an expanded line of rail, turning from the east to the west.
