The diagram describes the renovation that took place in Stokeford village during the years 1930 to 2010.
Overall,the village underwent significant changes during these years. The most noticeable change was the introduction of more accommodations and elimination of farmlands.
Initially,in 1930 half of the north-eastern region and south-western part was covered by farms and livestock. There was a road which runs from north to south side,were the west part consist of a post office and two shops with five small houses.On the other hand, east side was filled with three large appartments in a garden,a primary school and a very few villas.
Whereas,in 2010,both the farmlands were removed by introducing more houses to these areas.The large houses turned into retirement homes along with enlarging the size of primary school.Cross roads were introduced from main roads to new houses as well as cutting off the old shops in the west-north side. Besides,both the bridge and river stoke remained unchanged during these 80 years.
