The maps illustrate the changes that took place between 1930 and 2010 in the village called Stokeford.
Overall, the town underwent a number of dramatic changes, the most important of which are the development of the farmland and more housing areas.
In the north-west, the pathway branched off, most of the shops were replaced by houses, and in the south-west the farmland was converted into a residential area. In the center of the village, there used to be farmland, but it was then constructed into a roadway with more houses built around this road.
In the north-east, the bridge remained, the road was extended, which was accompanied by a housing area being built on it, while in the northern section, the primary school was redeveloped as a bigger school. Meanwhile, the south-east of the village also witnessed significant changes, with gardens behind the large house being transformed into a retirement house.
