Both maps depict the development of a university campus over a ten-year period from 2010 to the present day. It can be seen from the maps that the campus underwent substantial growth, with much more student accommodation and facilities than previously.
Although the student accommodation lying southwest of the university campus has been replaced by new student facilities, the total number of student accommodation on the university campus have experienced significant growth. The student accommodation located northeast of the campus has been extended with a new building. The northwest student accommodation has been constructed in place of the knocked-down shops, and the restaurant has been flattened to make way for a road leading to the new accommodation.
The lawn and seating area around the lake have been removed; however, the lake remains in the same position at the heart of the city. The teaching block that previously housed both arts and science classes has been converted into the arts building. After the destruction of the university offices, a new building was constructed for the science classrooms.
