The maps illustrate how a university campus has been improved from 2010 to the current day.
Overall, it is clear that a university experienced some obvious changes. Moreover, the improvements reflect a focus on expanding student accommodation, modernizing educational facilities, and improving the campus environment to better support the university community.
In the North-east, the university offices were replaced with a new science building, and the teaching block was upgraded to a larger, more modern facility for both science and arts, indicating an improvement in the educational infrastructure. It can be seen that the lawn and seating area have been removed, while the pond has been preserved as part of the campus landscaping.
In addition, student accommodation buildings have risen in number from two to three and access to them has been eased with the addition of a new road replacing the previous restaurant. In the North West, another building has been added to student accommodation. The South West area now has student facilities, such as shops and offices, in place of student accommodation. Finally, the southeast area’s shops and restaurants have been replaced by students’ areas.
