Overall, it is clear that, there was a significant rise in number of in international conferences in Paris, while London was less active in terms of hosting conferences. In contrast, Madrid’s figures was remained more stable compared to the other cities.
Focusing on Paris and London, Paris hosted 35 of conferances in 1965, a figure that than fell to 20 a next year. After this statistics, the number of conferences in Paris rose to 30, before recovering to 20 final year with a fluctuation. As for the London, on the other hand, began at a roughly 10 confrences and this followed by dramatic increase to 27 in 1995. The figure then decline slightly to 25 in 2005 before gradualy increase to 30 by 2010.
Turning to the Madrid’s figures, almost the same the whole period and remained stable until the end.
