The diagram illustrates how to produce cherry jam.
There are 9 stages in the process, beginning with shaking the tree to get cherries and ending with labeling each jar of cherry jam.
In the initial stage, a sheet is spread under the cherry tree and then the tree is shaken to get cherries. Next, the cherries are collected by a special machine and transported to the processing plant by truck. Afterwards, they are placed into a machine which remove stem and leaves before they are washed with water, cleansing the cherries from any unwanted impurities. Subsequently, the stone is taken out of the center of the cherries with a metal stone, ready for the next stage.
At the next stage, the cherries are put into a large reservoir and extra ingredients such as lemon juice, sugar, pectin are added; these substances can help enhance the flavor and preserve for a long time. After that this mixture is checked by a supervisor to make sure that they are qualified before placed into small jars. Finally, the jars are labeled and ready for many commercial purposes.
