Overall, the amount of water consumed for residential demand accounted for the largest percentage in comparison with the others, while the highest proportions of water used for residential categories were gardens and bathrooms.
In 2004, the percentage of water usage for residential areas was the highest, at 70%. In contrast, the water spent for government purposes made up 6% in total, which was double the figure for other purposes. Those for industrial and business targets were 11% and 10%, respectively.
Referring to the water used in households, bathrooms and gardens took up a large portion, at 27% and 28%, relatively. Washing clothes accounted for 20% of the total water used, while the sectors for toilets and kitchens were 15% and 10%, respectively.
