Task 1The pie charts give information about how much energy was produced in a country in two different years ( 1995 and 2005). There are different methods of generating energy, namely coal, gas, petrochemicals, nuclear, and “other.”.
Overall, it can be seen that the best methods were coal and gas in both years. The petro’s rate decreased while ‘other’ and nuclear grew slightly during 10 years.
In first place was coal, with 29,80%,, while gas was 29,63% in 1995. Next came Petro, with 29,27%; at the bottom of the list were ‘other’and nuclear, with 4,9% and 6,4%, respectively.
If we look at the next period, coal was ranked first with 30.93%.. In second place was also gas, with 30–31%.. Petro was third, at around 19,55%; we can see that this figure declined by 9,72% during the past the past 10 years. Last on the list were ‘other’and nuclear , whose index is 1% more than ‘other’. The energy production of nuclear was 10.10%,, while the bottom of the list was ‘other’, with 9.10% in 2005..
