The pie charts below represent the information about the production of various energy resources in two distinct years, 1995 and 2005.
Looking from an overall perspective,at the beginning of the period coal contributed the most to the production of energy, while nuclear and other sources of energy were the least significant sector. In comparison, at the end of the period nuclear and other sources contributed the least, while coal remained the most vital segment of the energy production.
In 1995, gas, coal, and petrol were roughly equal in terms of energy production with each slightly above than 29%. In 2005, the percentage of gas and coal increased slightly by 1-2%, with 30.31% and 30.93% respectively, while the percentage of petrol dropped dramatically by nearly 10% and was equivalent to 19.55%.
The data for the remaining resources was considerably lower in 1995,for nuclear with 6.4% of energy production and 4.9% for “other”. At the end of the period, these numbers rose noticeably. with 10.10% and 9.10% respectively.
