In general, as it can be seen, the share of water usage for residential purposes is the largest area, with a significant difference in two western cities. The proportion for industry and agriculture is nearly the same, with California dominating at a slightly higher point than San Deigo. Rest of the world showed a stark contrast in statistics.
In detail, the range of water usage for residential needs is highest, at approximately 60% and 39%, in San Deigo and California, correspondingly. California utilize a slightly higher proportion of water for industry and agriculture compared to San Diego, with a difference of almost 10%. In San Diego, 17% of water used for agriculture and 23% for industry, while in California, these are 28% and a third for residential consumption and industry, respectively.
Globally, statistics significantly differ from those of other regions in each respective field. Other countries focus primarily on agriculture system, with 69%, which is significantly higher than the 47% and 61% utilized for industry and consumption of occupants, respectively. People in these regions utilize 23% of the total water for industrial needs, whereas water they consume for his own needs accounts for only 8%.
