The three pie charts demonstrate different approaches of managing dangerous waste products inthe UK, Sweden and the Republic of Korea.
Overall, underground constituted the main way of dealing with harmful waste products both in theUnited Kingdom and Sweden, while in the Republic of Korea the most widely used method isrecycling. Incineration rank the lowest among all three countries.
According to the pie charts, the prevalent method in the UK is underground, making up 82%. In two other countries underground technique is used less frequently, for 22% of the detrimental waste in the Republic of Korea and 55% in Sweden. Furthermore, chemical treatment is used only in the UK at 8%.
While 8% of the dangerous waste in the UK are dumped at the sea, the Republic of Korea and Sweden do not apply this approach at all. In the latter country 20% of the waste is destroyed by fire, which is the least common way. The UK is barely use incineration at 2% of the whole amount of detrimental waste, however the Republic of Korea is not tent to use this method
