The pie graph depicts the proportion of housing owned and rented in the UK between 1991 to 2007.

Regarding the housing owned and rented in 1991, home owners accounted for 70%, ranking first in the period. Following this, both of renting including social renting, and private renting were 17% and 11%, respectively. In addition, social housing view as the smallest proportion (2%).

When it comes to percentages in 2007, there was a decline by 10% of home owners. In contrast, social renting and social housing experienced 6% and 4% growth in order. Lastly, the only proportion that remains the same was private renting stable at 11% through the period.

In conclusion, the big noticeable trend over the period was been home owners. The percentage of social renting and social housing showed an overall upward trend, while home owners represented a decreasing trend. Private renting did not vary was seen on their percentage.
