The pie chart below illustrates the distribution of auto, health, life, and ‘other’ insurance policies worldwide, while the table presents its ownership by three countries: India, England, and Australia.
Overall; auto, health, and life are spread fairly evenly, with auto being the greatest in percentage. By contrast, the ‘other’ category is distributed the least. From the table, England has the largest total population with insurance, while India has the least.
Compared to the other policies, auto has the highest distribution, at 35%, followed by health and life, with 31% and 28% respectively. Lastly, ‘other’ insurance policies come last at only 6%.
In India, only 7% of the whole population owns insurance, more than half of which being health related. On the other hand, 10% of the people living in England have auto insurance, while 7.9% and 5.7% of them own health and life insurances respectively. This adds up to 25% of the total population. Finally, Australia has the second highest percentage, at 15%.
