The pie charts above show the amount of income and money spent by the USA children Charity in 2016. From an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the most part of the revenue had been acquired through donated food, while almost all of the money was spent on program services.
As mentioned before, the income that was received from the donated food made up the majority of the total amount, namely 86.6%. Likewise, in terms of expenditures, program services accounted for the vast majority of the expenses – 95.8%.
Other categories took up much less of the pie charts. For example, regarding revenue sources, community contributions were in second place with 10.4% of an overall income, followed by the program revenue, investment income and other categories that accounted for 3% united. From the graph depicting the amount of spending is observed that there were only two categories except program services – fundraising and management and general- which made up only 4.2% in sum. Ultimately, the total amount of revenue was $53,561,580, which was enough to cover the expenditures.
