The illustration below compares several energy sources in France using two pie charts in 1995 and 2005.
Overall, gas and coal were the dominant type of electricity generation during the decade. Whereas oil production has fallen sharply while demand for nuclear and other forms of energy has doubled over the same period.
In particular, energy manufacturing from gas increased slightly – from 29.63% to 30.31% over 10 years. Similarly, coal producing rise by 1% during the same period. Furthermore , these natural resources remain leaders in this industry in two periods.
On the other hand, nuclear energy output grew shockingly by 5%. By 2005, the figure of atomic energy was a mere one tenth of the graph. The remaining 10% was allocated to the other variety of items. Moreover, they had a steep soar of 5%.
However, sole source Petro saw a sharp decline of 10%. Petro products accounted for a third of the schedule, but a decade later they accounted for one-fifth.
