Overall, while mobile phone and flat-screen use increased, the opposite was true for conventional TV.
In 2009, 34 percent of people in the 18 to 25 age group in Canada used conventional TV. The percentage of laptops which were used by people in the 18 to 25 age was 20 percent . 15 percent and 18 percent of mobile phones and desktop computers were used equally by young adult. The proportion of young adult who used flat-screen TV and tablets was the lowest in 2009, at 8 percent and 5 percent respectively
The percentage of flat-screen TV and mobile phone which were used most popularly in 2019, at 27 percent and 26percent. In 2009, the proportion of young adult who used tablet was 19 percent . 12 percent of desktop computer and laptop were used by people in the 18 to 25 age group. The percentage of conventional TV in 2019 which were used the least, at 4 percent
