Other notable advantages included accommodation quality (12%) and culture (11%), while 11% of visitors selected “other” factors as benefits.
Regarding disadvantages, the high cost of living was the most frequently mentioned drawback, accounting for 38% of responses. Poor entertainment options were a concern for 25% of visitors, while limited amenities were noted by 21%. Weather conditions and “other” disadvantages were less significant, making up 10% and 6%, respectively.
The data suggests that while Bowen Island is highly appreciated for its natural beauty and welcoming residents, issues such as expense and limited entertainment options may impact visitor satisfaction.
