The pie charts illustrate the difference in digital sales for travel, film/music, books and clothes retail sectors in New Zealand between the year 2003 and 2013.
It is clear that from 2003 the percentage of internet sales of film/music category noticeably grew, while travel experieneced a drop. Clothes sector had a reduction in simillar to travel. The part accounting for books stayed considerately the same.
Film/misic sector underwent the biggest increase in sales of 12% by 2013. The opposite change was in the travel category. While being the leader in 2003 with 36% in sales, after a decade, this percentage went down to 29%. Similar decrease can be observed for clothes. In 2003 it was the second biggest category, resposible for 24% sales. By the year 2013 the drop was 6%.
Books can be considered the most stable category with positive change in sales of only 3% in 10 years.
