The two pie charts demostrates the comparison of household revenue spent on five major categories in a certain country in 2000 and 2020.
Overall, the proportion of three main categories like food, transport and entertainment declined over the period, meanwhile the housing category increased the most at the end of the period.
At the beginning of the period, the food category contributed the most to the spending by accounting for 30% and then dropped significantly to 22% in 2020. In comparison, the spending on entertainment decreased slightly from 15% by 2%. Transport category declined from 20% to 15% at the end of the period.
On the other hand, the income spent on housing was 20% in 2000 and then made up the biggest part of the chart by accounting for 35% of total spent. In comparison, the savings category remained the least significant part of income spent and represented 10% in both years.
