This pie chart depicts time spent in various activities by working adults in a specific country in 1958 and 2008. The different activities being compared in ensuing paragraphs are working ,relaxing ,sleeping ,travel ,going out with friends or family and hobbies like playing sports,etc

After summarising the pie charts ,it can be seen clearly that time spent working is 9% more in 2008 as compared to 1958. Wheras, time spent relaxing at home has increased from 8% to 13% in 2008 .

This indicates that people worked more in 2008 but also took more time for relaxing at home in 2008.

Further, combined time spent while sleeping is 57% in 1958 and 2008. In terms of time spent while travelling to work the proportions are 2 and 8 in 1958 and 2008 respectively. In 1958, 19% time was spent in going out with family or friends which has decreased to only 6% in 2008. The time spent on hobbies or playing sports is almost simillar in 2008 and 1958 with no major difference.

Overall, people got less time with family in 2008 but more time for work .
