Overall, figures undicate a positive increase in home activities, it means that people made a good step ahead in their work-life balance activities. However, the most important rate related to sleeping experienced a decrease.
It is obvious, that adults spent a majority of time at work, so the highest level of spending fall on working with insignificant increase from 33 % in 1958 to 42% in 2008. It is also interesting that there was an opposite trend in sleeping rate that fell to 25% in 2005 ,compared to 32% in 1958. The percentage of outdoor activities plunged to 6% in 2008, whereas it was 19% in 1958. Although, the commute time increased fourfold by 8% in 2008.
The rest of activities including sport remained stable and had just minor growth from 6% in 1952 to 8% in 2008.
