The two pie charts illustrate the profits of five different sectors in Togo. The first segment chart depicts the total revenue of the year 2000, with the fields of information services and soft beverages making equal and notably highest contributions. Meanwhile, the prediction pie chart estimates a vast growth in the total financial gains, with the semiconductor industry being by far the highest earner.
It is clear that between 2000 and 2050, the revenue of soft beverages will remain the same at $25bn. However, information services income is predicted to reduce by $15bn. In addition, some minor changes are expected, such as the decline of life insurance turnover by $2bn and the rise of real estate development from $10bn to $25bn throughout the 50 years.
The most significant anticipation is the surge of the semiconductor business as it is expected to rise from $15bn in the year 2000 to $126bn in 2050. This major upturn will make up around 60% of the total income ($196bn) of the entire nation that year.
