Overall, it is evident that people in Brazil and Peru spend the major portion of their salary on housing, but in Columbia, food and drinks take the largest share of household expenses.
It is noticed that housing and food & drinks takes the largest share of expenses in both the countries, taking 35% on housing and 20% on food and drinks in Brazil and 31% on housing and 20% on food and drinks in Peru, respectively. However, Columbians spend major part of their income about 30% on food and drinks, followed by housing which takes up around 19%.
Additionally, the people in Brazil and Peru spend only 5% and 8% on clothing, respectively. while Columbians spend a little higher share of around 14%. Moreover, Brazilians spend around 20% on education and entertainment, while Peruvians spend around 16% on education and 25% on entertainment. Furthermore, Columbians spend a larger proportion on education with around 24% and least on entertainment with just 13%.
