The plans above display what a normal university student room looks like in general. The plans of the dorm visualizes how the furniture will be laid out for one person room and two person room. The dorm for one person looks much more spacious than two people despite being twice as small than two people room.
There are some key elements missing on the single person room compared to the two people room which makes the price for rental different. A cupboard has been added beside study desk1 on the left side for placement of books which can not be found in single room. As two students are living together they have been provided with different compartments for them. A small dining table with chairs has been placed beside kitchen room for the two students to have dinner together.
Besides adding some extra furnitures the two room compartment has smaller microwave, stove and sink compared to the one room even though there are two students residing there. The television has been adjusted for the two person room in such a way that they can enjoy watching them together placing it right in from of the dining table whereas the single room has placed it right behind the study desk.
In conclusion, I think student for one person looks more spacious and laid out perfectly even if the two people have more furnitures.
