The floor plan above depict a building’s layout that has been modified over time. In a span of 42 years since its construction in 1958, the building has experienced three major layout renovation.
In the beginning, the building was built for an office. The rooms are designed to accomodate office’s works, which includes meeting room, manager’s officie, assistant’s office, up to secretary’s office.
In 1985, the building experienced its first major renovation which transformed it into an apartment. With an objective to create a space of living, the second layout consisted of bedrooms, a living room, and bathroom. This layout only lasted for 15 years.
Its last renovation was in 2001. The building was transformed into a flower shop. It has fewer rooms than the previous ones. It has more open space to put flowers.
However, there is a single room that had never experienced a layout transformation. It is the kitchen. Since the very start, the kitchen is always there; located on the right corner of the building.
