The plans demonstrate the changes that have been made to a bookstore from the year 2000 to today.

Overall the bookstore has gone through changes in its layout. The obvious changes are the addition of a cafe counter and the rearrangement of the book sections. Still the entrance and the service desk have stayed in about the spots.

In the year 2000 the fiction section was up in the part of the bookstore and ran down the left-hand side. The non-fiction section was on the right-hand wall. In the middle there were three book sections: cookery, hobbies and art. A travel section was in the left corner and a new books table was near the bottom centre. The service desk was in the right corner close to the entrance.

Today the layout is quite different. The fiction section has moved to the left-hand side. Is now arranged vertically. The cookery, hobbies and art sections are also on the wall below the fiction area. The non-fiction section is now at the top of the bookstore.

Another big change is the addition of a café counter on the right-hand side. The travel section has moved to the left area and the new books table stays near the bottom centre. The service desk is still, in the right corner and the entrance remains in the same spot.
